After setting up mission, I press START on bottom right of screen. No response from app. It has worked previously. Deleted DD app and reinstalled it on my Samsung A35. Same result.
I restarted my mobile, did preflight checks, checked GPS (17), pressed START and no response from the app.
Does anyone have a clue as to how to address this, please? You can email survey@icon.co.za
Many thanks, still learning towards getting a licence.

Same problem here. No response to the “start flight” button press. Also the “flight checklist” button only works after several presses. Using a Mavic pro 2
Hello, i a m still experiencing this issue. All checks are ok and when i start press there is no respond. I am flying DJI PHANTOM 4 V2 and using Samsung Galaxy S22. Any help would be much appreciated.
Also same problem here. Samsung A23+ and DJI Mavic 2 Pro.
Goes through the preflight checks, and I press at the start button over and over, and… nothing!
I have now also tested this with my old Huawei P20 Pro, which I have been using with Drone Deploy and my DJI Mavic Pro for more than 18 months with no issues whatsoever. Now — exact same problem. I get through the preflight checks, and the start button is green and ready to go, and it won’t accept that I am pressing the button. This must be a software issue, because I struggle to think how this might be related to the drone. But if it’s software, why aren’t more people reporting problems???
Just a thought here - I would assume you are using the subscribed version of DD ? Why I mentioned this is because I suspect we’re not attracting support from DD due to the fact that we use the free version. However, it’s still poor response as this is a common problem across hardware platforms and versions, so one would assume the team dealing with that aspect of the app on mobiles, would render assistance purely from the marketability of the software.
Your issue with the aircraft type not remaining once specified in the app is also a problem.
Isn’t DD supposed to fetch the aircraft type, camera, etc from the DJIGO4 app if I launch in DJIGO4 to check camera, compass, etc , then fly a mission?
If any DD personnel are watching, please respond.
Collectively, forum members who still fly older rigs should pressure DD support to respond, and fix anyway!
