It would be nice and very useful for myself and clients to be able to see the progress of a job site on an orthomosaic map over time easily. So I’d like to be able to click a date on a timeline (date of each drone mission) and then see the corresponding orthomosaic map update on the screen.

We have a dropdown menu that you can use to click back through time below the map title. Have you tried that?
We’d like to show a more promenent timeline in future, and also allow you to retain your zoom level as you switch dates.

Thanks, that is useful! It is a bit hidden, would be nicer as you mentioned to make it a bit more prominent / a horizontal timeline UI of sorts would be nice.
