So, first test of Inspire 1/X5 with DD version 2.0.11 …
To begin with, nice surprise, connection is immediate … but I have on the screen both “drone connected” and “connect drone” … what strange it is !
After clicking on “new flight”, all ok …
But … 1st flight, he’s speeding 15 m/s !! and of course as a result the map is … something like strange ! Overlapping is fully mixed up …
2nd flight, 3 m/s, quite beter ! But … didn’t take all pictures … Could it be a SD overload ?
Map in proces, I still don’t know the result but pictures are ok, X5 is correctly used.
Waiting for other tests.
Edit : Mmmhhh … both maps have issues …same images reused twice or more, generating strange and unusable maps …
Something is bad somewher, other test to come …
And, I cannot use the new option “elevation in profile”: understood it was available in free mode …
So strange …
2 flights this morning, the bird flies much too quickly !
Plan says about 10 minutes fly, at 3’30", 2/3 of the flight completed, but about 7 m/s and many pictures missing !!
same issue with second fly, event with high side/frontlap and low altitude (40m) scheduled, no way to limit its speed.
DD please help !!!
What angle are you taking your photographs at? I’ve found that with my P4 I need to manually tilt the gimbal to take nadir imagery for best mapping results. Also, what is your surface like? I can’t speak to the Inspire as I’ve only been using the P4.
I let DD manage the camera and photos are taken at 90° for NADIR.
Pictures are good, no problem. It’s the assembly that doesn’t work as supposed.and speed that is strangely managed.
I had another flight at 3 m/s …
And as I want as many details as possible, I do fly mid height, about 40 m
