The automated video planning is limited within Drone Deploy. You are only given the option to fly around and focus on single points of interest. There are other 3d flight planning apps out there, including Dronelink and DJI’s own Waypoint flight, that lets you plan a flight on a path and change Points of Interest (POI), depending on where on the flight path you are. And the paths do not need to be a full loop.
Large utility construction projects require us to fly through the site and focus on certain areas, we don’t want to orbit around one object. We are currently using other apps and uploading the video to drone deploy. Would be nice to not have to use multiple apps for this, especially at the cost.
