Separate from the previous request for slope values is a Slope Direction Analysis. The takes it one step past the Elevation (color) map and dials in on the direction of each triangle in the model. This project is a new athletic center for a local school and the analysis is to build a drainage swale on the south and east sides of the football field. Much easier for people who have a hard time deciphering contour maps. I put this one in as an overlay with a slight transparency on the site.
@MichaelL What kind of exports would you want, and what kind of softwares would you be putting this data into? Or would this be more for visual purposes? Also do have any other use cases for slope directions? Thanks for the great feature request.
I second this, having slope direction visualization would be useful for drainage verification. We are similarly interested in slope identification to prevent parking in areas of significant scope, it’s slope direction could be valuable to stakeholders.
