862 images were successfully uploaded for the 3 different flights it took to capture an area. But the processed map seems to have only used 554 images to produce my final map. It looks as though it ignored the images from my third flight path. What would be the best way to troubleshoot this?
thanks
Hi there,
Thank you for reaching out on the forums. Usually, when all of the images from an upload do not make it to the finished map, it is because there was a internet connection loss during the upload, so I would ensure the connection is stable.
To fix the particular map in question, you’re able to add additional images to a map by going to your dashboard on desktop, clicking the three-dotted context menu on your map, and clicking ‘Add More Images’. This will restart the processing of the map, and you will receive an email when it is completed once more. There is also the option of uploading a new map.
Please let me know if you have any further questions; we are here to help!

Thanks, I thought a failed upload could be the issue. But when I go to upload it says that 862 images were already uploaded. And when i look at the map info it says 554 were used. I’m including images for reference.
And the map info shows 554 images used. Is there another reason why uploaded images wouldn’t make it onto the map?
Were any of them outside of the area that you defined to be processed? Probably not as it is evident when they turn red before you upload them. Just a shot.
Hi @aseideman,
I wanted to follow up with you regarding this topic. This issue is being investigated by our engineers as a potential bug, but I’m going to go ahead and reprocess this map to see if that will fix the issue with this specific situation. I’ll check back after it is reprocessed to see what the result is, and we shall go from there! Please feel free to reach out with any questions or comments in the meantime.
Best,
Adam
Thanks very much! The only other thing I can think of is that after this last flight (the third), I noticed that my gimbal was crooked since a small part of it was stuck. The images were still taken though and I assume that the map processing can handle a slight offset. Anyway, thanks for the follow up. Excited to see if this second processing resolves the issue.
Absolutely, @aseideman, we are very happy to help. Thank you for that additional piece of information regarding the gimbal! Our engineering team will absolutely take that into consideration, and I am also excited to see what this second round of processing can do. To be continued!

Hi, it looks like reprocessing did the trick. thanks for your help!
Anytime, I appreciate your appreciation! I was just about to check this one out, before the end of the day.
I’m glad to hear that the map is looking good, and I hope you have a wonderful weekend, @aseideman!
