"Invalid Remote Control Mode" on Mavic Mini MT1SS5

Dear DJI Support Team,

I hope this message finds you well. I am facing a challenging issue with my Mavic Mini drone (model MT1SS5), and after exhausting my attempts to resolve it, I am reaching out to your expertise for assistance.

While attempting to fly, I consistently encounter the error message “Invalid Remote Control Mode.” I have already performed basic checks, such as ensuring the drone is not in Sport mode. However, I am unable to access the DJI Go app to verify the “Multiple Flight Mode” settings. Currently, the firmware is up to date.

What should I do to resolve this issue?

The Mavic Mini series is not compatible with DroneDeploy for flight. You can process the imagery but even that can be sketchy because of the lesser accuracy of the earlier Mini’s geotags.
