Has anybody been successful in mapping utility right of ways and being able to discern the electric transmission lines?
That’s pushing the envelope at this stage of this technology.
You might experiment with different altitudes and overlaps.
Sometimes it is best to fly at two altitudes and upload both sets as one map. The higher one supports better alignment and stitching and the lower one supports better resolution. It depends on the subject matter, but 150 feet and 350 feet are usually good.
Thank you for your reply! I will definitely try your suggestion out. I was not aware that I could upload 2 different altitudes on one map. I am still new at this. If it comes out decent, I will be sure to post it here. So much to learn here!!
