Amount of batteries?

DD now shows you how many batteries you will need to complete your flight. How is this calculated?
A Phantom 4 is rated to fly for upwards of 30 minutes, however if a mission requires a 16 minute flight time, DD reports that you will need 2 batteries. How does DD even know what drone I will use for a given mission?

Is there a setting somewhere?

Hi @Photosolutions we estimate battery by roughly 16 mins of flight time per battery. This is conservative number, to accommodate for some unplanned events that could drain battery (e.g. weather). Also the battery life degrades over time to 70-80% of rated capacity. We do not have a setting to change it.
