Map scale and rotation issue

I uploaded a set of geotagged images to create a map.

The geotags appear in the right places, but the resulting map is scaled and rotated wrong. Is this a processing error, or could I have inadvertently moved/scaled the map while zooming around or trying to crop it? I’m new to DroneDeploy, but not to mapping.

Thank you for your insights.

Please make sure that all of your images are good. Remove any files that have blur, are too close to the subject and or show any horizon or sky.

I did that. The actual map and model look quite good, just the scale and rotation are off.

That’s usually the first thing that can cause the map to distort. The second thing is poorly tagged GCP’s. Have you tried to reprocess? Could just be a glitch.

Hi @KGraf! If you are having issues with map alignment, feel free to send an email to support@dronedeploy.com. They can get your map back in the queue for reprocessing if need be and see if it comes out better the second time. (Be sure to remove any images that have blur, are too close to the subject and or show any horizon or sky beforehand).
