What is the most efficient way to upload 5000 images for multispectral processing?

The special upload types → Special maps interface seems stalled out on 1395 images/14GB. This just an initial test, I would like to upload a larger area.

The UI also stalls with upload of only 8 images. This is a test of 4 camera M3M trigger locations uploading the NIR and R bands. Do I need all of the bands from the M3M for the DroneDeploy UI to continue with processing?
