Vegetation or Point Cloud Classification Using RGB or Multispectral Imaging?

I have the need to generate a 2D (GIS) map showing the boundaries of different surface features such as trees, bushes, bare ground, etc. I know using LIDAR you can do point cloud classification. I’m wondering if there is a solution or partial solution (other than doing this completely manually) to take and RGB or NDVI / Plant Health orthomosaic and/or point cloud output and automatically (or semi-automatically) do surface feature/vegetation classification?

Our DTM App includes three classified point cloud export options if you select the .laz file type.

I’ve seen very impressive results with these exports that often require little to no editing.
