I always get tons of blank areas when I load the .tif into GIS. I just can’t figure out why. It doesn’t have any symbology settings turned on.

Hi @dwindham,

When importing a GeoTIFF into QGIS or ArcGIS you will need to make sure that the null values are displayed. Here are instructions that will explain how to set that up in ArcGIS and here are instructions on how to do the same thing in QGIS. Also, make sure you are exporting the Raw Elevation DEM so that you can utilize all of the data associated with the file in the GIS software being used.
