DroneDeply support rep could not give me a yes/no answer on this. Does terrain follow work if the app is running on a device with no cellular data connection? If it does, can the flight plan be slightly altered (say expand the boundary 100 feet) and still retain terrain follow. I would think if it works with no data connection, it would be best to just design alternate flight plans beforehand would be the safest approach.

TA is only available on iOS and requires a data connection.
