start the flight from the lowest height point ,Do or not

In order to get the best results from DroneDeploy, do you recommend to start the flight from the lowest height point (so all the heights are >0) or not?
When I am flying in a hillside sometimes is easier for me to launch from the top so I can see the Phantom 3 easily, but in the resulting maps the height of many the points is less than 0 (in relation to the takeoff point)

Do not worry about the initial elevation you see in your maps. Use the elevation adjustment feature of DroneDeploy to adjust the elevation of the whole map so it suites you.

Regards,
Terry.

Thank you so much for this. I was into this issue and tired to tinker around to check if its possible but couldnt get it done. Now that i have seen the way you did it, thanks guys

Like Terry said height value doesn’t matter, but it is recommended to start on the high side for safety purposes. If you have more than a 60 or 70ft delta in elevation I would consider splitting it into two flight.

High is better, but as Michael says, there are some situations where making tow flights and uploading all as one are better.
