DJI Phantom 4, Galaxy 7 edge no sim card
I could not pass the preflight last week. It said something like "live view not supported. I’m sorry I didn’t write it down.
It works today by the house. Don’t know if the WiFi helps.
Any ideas on what went wrong. Litchi worked that day. I was a quarter mile away from a cell tower.

That device was released in 2016 and is not officially supported.
Have you tried testing it further in different locations?
It could be related to a few things—like signal strength or how the app is connecting to your phone’s network. Sometimes, the lack of a SIM card or a weak mobile connection can cause issues with live view, even though WiFi might help in some cases. I’ve had a similar problem with my drone before, and it worked fine when I was closer to a WiFi source. Litchi is usually pretty solid, so it might just be the network connection causing a hiccup.
I also found that using temporary phone numbers for certain services helped me avoid connection issues while testing different apps. It might not be the fix here, but it worked for me when I was trying to troubleshoot a similar setup.
