I’m trying to do some mapping of my farm 70km north of Oslo in Norway. Unfortunately the satellite images for this location are really bad. Low resolution and a lot of clouds. This makes it impossible to reliably select my area of interest, I only have roads to orient myself. It’s if possible to replace the aerial images? For instance, Google has for the past few years has pretty decent coverage…

Drone Deploy has just come out with Google Maps on the mobile device in iOS and soon in Android. You might try planning there when connected to wifi.
You could also use this technique on the computer.
