I frequently export files and have been frustrated with a lack of metadata in the exported files.
Most often, I would like to know when a plan was captured, however the exported file only has the map name, the export type, and the something representing the export date/time. The export timecode is not very helpful for me most of the time, I most want to know when the data was collected.
Can DroneDeploy please consider either adding the capture date/time in the filename? Or, include something like a text file in the zip with the metadata of the export request and the map details.
Additionally, the export email would be better if it also contained the map name and the capture date, in the subject or at least the body with the rest of the export request details. The export ID is the only unique identifier but it’s meaningless to me in this context. If I’m downloading many plans at once it becomes impossible to figure out which email relates to which plan.
I have also been downloading the processing report, and these are all given the filename report.pdf, which is also not helpful. Can these please be given a more meaningful name, e.g. “__ProcessingReport”?
Is anyone else mildly bothered by this?
