Phantom 4 PRO screen controller

I have a DJI Phantom 4 PRO controller with built in screen and it wont connect with dronedeploy app on my ipad. Am I not allowed to connect to dronedeploy with that type of controller?

I have the same type of controller and found that DD does not work with it. I had to purchase another controller without the screen and now get DD to work fine.
