Estimados una consulta,
Hice un plan de vuelo con la aplicación , en el cual se utilizaban 2 baterías. El vuelo se realizaba a una altura de 150 metros. la primera parte , del plan de vuelo , primera batería, sin problemas, volvió a punto de origen y se cambio la batería e inicio nuevamente el vuelo. Sin embargo al retomar el plan de vuelo, comenzaron a aparecer mensajes de desconexión de GPS y las imágenes que enviaba era borrosas, líneas negras y después totalmente negras, finalmente pasaron 25 minutos y el drone NO regreso. La pantalla del programa en mi celular señalaba " MISION INCOMPLETA" . INCLUSO EL CONTROL SE APAGO, y tuve que volver a encender, Luego de esto perdí totalmente señal del GPS… existirá una forma de poder saber realmente donde esta el drone?? , que p
asa con el drone phanton 4 pro, cuando se desconecta del control o perde señal de GPS?? vuelve al origen??? o baja en el mismo lugar ?, o sigue una linea recta hasta que se le acaba la bateria??
Were the GPS connection issues before takeoff and you had to wait or was the drone already running the 2nd part of the mission?
How far away was the drone from you? An altitude of 150m is past regulations in most countries so I hope you were complying. Did you have VLOS? You should have been able to see the drone as soon as the video started acting up.
When you say the images were “blurry” did they appear to be out of focus or was the screen pixelating like a bad signal? With the screen going black that means you have lost all video transmission, but I have never seen the image blurred unless you were in manual focus and it wasn’t set well.
Unfortunately if you lost all video and the drone lost GPS and you turned the RC off then there is no way to see where the last position was or regain connection. It’s quite possible that the battery came out upon crashing.
What the drone is supposed to do is what you had defined in DJI Go. It will either RTH, hover or land, but regardless of the setting it will force land when the battery gets too low and there is nothing that can be done to stop it.
Gracias por tu respuesta. mira para precisar , el drone nunca presento problemas al inicio del vuelo , realizo la primera parte del plan de vuelo con droneDeploy, sin problemas y volvió para el cambio de batería al punto de inicio. Una Vez cambiada la batería el drone volvió a despegar sin ningún problema y retomo la primera linea de vuelo. El drone estaba a unos 1800 metros de distancia del punto de inicio, desde donde me encontraba yo con el control. NO podia verlo ya que la topografía es plana pero con bosques de pino muy altos. Precisar que la zona en la que se realizaba el vuelo, era una zona rural No urbana, y alejada de aeropuertos o zonas con restricción. Así que el tema de la altura de vuelo en ese aspecto no tiene problemas en mi Pais. Efectivamente las imágenes en la pantalla comenzaron a pixelar, y finalmente negras. Empezó a arrojar un error que decía error conexión con GPS, CONEXION, DESCONEXION, Y finalmente todas las imágenes fueron negras, y se apago el control o Joystick , que fue lo peor, tomo unos 40 segundos en prender y restablecer conexión. Una vez encendido arrojaba en mensaje Misión incompleta como se observa en la imagen. Claramente , el punto que me arroja en la imagen como ultima conexión creo que no estoy en condiciones de decir que ahí pudiera estar el drone verdad? , existe la posibilidad que el drone siga en curso? tratando de conectarse? me servirá el programa Airdata? , habra un solo programa de rastreo?, actualmente sigue esta extraviado mi drone phanton 4 pro.

Regardless of your countries height restriction all countries that I have ever seen regulations for have a VLOS regulation. You have to be able to identify where the drone is at all times as well as navigate it should you lose video. Just my opinion, but 1,800m is way to far to be flying a Phantom drone. Despite the fact that their documentation says it can travel 10km that is the radio link and not the video. It is quite possible that your drone lost radio link in those conditions, but it still should have maintained some DJI action as set in the Go4 app and it doesn’t sound like it did anything. Possibly it caught one tall tree? Sorry if this isn’t helping.
The screen pixelating and then going black indicates loss of video downlink and probably control signal with it.
If you had RTH programmed to return to the home point, and the P4P had a gps connection and enough battery, it would have returned to the home point. If RTH was set to hover in place, then it would do that until the battery got low and then it would land in place.
If it lost control signal, and the gps connection was compromised, it would just drift with the wind until the battery got low and then try to land in place where ever it was.
With Drone Deploy’s in app messaging being sometimes misleading. It is not clear if there was actually a gps connection problem, or the app was just loosing connection because of the control signal loss.
Hola buenos dias miguel, me paso el mismo caso con un phantom 4 pro, la distancia que tenia el equipo en ese vuelo fue de 3200 metros, se realizaron 8 vuelos, en el ultimo vuelo que fue el de mayor distancia se perdio a 1800 metros se quedo en stanby y no se pudo recuperar, y se perdio en una zona muy densa, en primer lugar miguel el problema que le acontecio a usted no seria la distancia porque por experiencia le confirmo que realice vuelos mucho mas retirados con la aplicacion dronedeploy y es excelente, a mi parecer el problema se refiere a una pequeña falla de la aplicacion, porque nuevamente compre otro dron phantom 4 pro v 2.0 y me volvio a pasar lo mismo inicie el vuelo a la altura permitida estaba programado para dos baterias, se realizo calibracion de brujula del dron previo inicio del vuelo y estando a 1100 metros volvio a pasar lo mismo el equipo se detuvo la pantalla inicio tal como miguel relata miguel se quedo negra y perdi coneccion con el dron, debo indicar que no tenia torres celulares cercanas cuando perdi el primer dron sin embargo en el segundo vuelo que estoy relatando si habia una torre a unos 5 km de frente a donde el dron se dirigia, no se si eso pudo haber causado alguna afectacion en las comunicaciones entre el dron y el control, pero es un factor que hay que tener en cuenta, lo logre recuperar porque esa falla se presento en el segundo vuelo el primero se habia realizado con total normalidad, cuando la pantalla se puso negra comence a realizar procedimientos de revision de cables de reinio de aplicaciones pero no tenia acceso al dron, procedi a apagar el control con la aplicacion DJI GO abierta y logre reconectar el dron pero me aparecia que tenia una mision y estaba en pausa, aparecio la opcion de cancelar la mision y fue ahi donde pude recuperarlo y le di la opcion volver a casa, si deseas recuperar el dron que se te perdio debes tomar ese plan de vuelo que esta en la foro que pusiste y abrirlo en el sector donde se perdio, con toda seguridad estara en un area de 30 metros al rededor de donde esta el punto verde que dice comienzo porque hasta ahi el programa tiene registro del vuelo, tuve la experiencia de hacer un vuelo en el que el phantom 4 pro v 2.0 se me cayo porque choco con una palmera en una zona de vegetacion espesa, y con ese mapa y la aplicacion drondeploy abierta lo pude encontrar porque el me mostraba el ultimo vuelo y el sitio hasta donde habia ido y efectivamente el dron estaba en ese sector, es todo lo que puedo compartirle de mi experiencia con el uso del phantom 4 pro y la aplicacion dronedeploy que por cierto es buena para fotogrametria buen dia.
