You could get VRS on a UAS. I wonder if Google is going to try and work with DJI on a slot to put Ara in. Slide the phone into the UAS.
They need to if the Ara project is going to work. VRS is very fragmented nationally. Outfits like Westinghouse used to do tax maps. I could see Google eventually putting all the VRS networks together and serving them on Google Earth Pro. Amazon should have went modular on their first attempt. Google is going to be doing online retailers a favor in the long run with Ara.
