Mapping an island (Koh Mak in Thailand)

So if you are flying at 600ft you should not have any issues with object at 300ft (above point of takeoff). Also, just for making a map at that altitude you can bring your overlaps down to 70/60. For map making you really only need higher overlaps once you get down to about 250-260ft. You should be capturing plenty of tie-points per image being that high. Your worst area is going to be the very highest elevations if there is allot of vegetation that might make it tricky to get enough solid tie-points.

I will wait for the beginning of the rain season. Rain will wash out the air and vegetation will look more inviting. The map should also be publicity for Kho Mak :slight_smile:
