Landing gear issue

Hi all - just took our girl up for her first flight using the iOS beta. All way-points successfully hit. However, she landed on her camera as the landing gear failed to descend. Obviously could have intervened but no harm done, soft surface. Is this something that others have experienced?

The landing gear should always come down automatically because we just trigger a normal RTL in order to tell the drone to land. This is the first time I’ve heard about this. I’ve added a note for us to see if can tell the landing gear to lower as a backup.
