iOS and Android app (version 2.0.45)

We released a new version of apps today.

Summary
This app update includes improvements to camera check in the checklist - now we attempt to capture a test photo to ensure camera is in functional state before the takeoff. We have begun beta testing Google Maps (only available on iOS) – its open beta and you have control to turn it ON/OFF. Other updates include bug fixes flight log upload and syncing plans from mobile to desktop.

iOS
New:

  • Checklist now takes a test photo to ensure camera is functional before takeoff
  • Google Maps Open Beta (Opt In): Google Maps offers faster app performance, fewer app crashes, and higher quality base maps worldwide. You can now easily turn on Google Maps yourself within the app. Please note that this is a beta and has known issues which we hope to resolve in subsequent app updates.
