Has anyone tried to map the inside of a warehouse?

Not with DroneDeploy, but I did try filming the inside of a warehouse with my Inspire1. That was the one and only time that I crashed my bird. I will never fly indoors again, in spite of the hype about the Vision Positioning System. Not worth the risk!
However, if you are serious about creating an image of the inside of a warehouse you might want to check out the Matterport Camera. I have used this device with great success recently.
Without being able to geotag the images (on account of being indoors,) it is hard to see how mapping indoors would work. However - I’ve just been asked if I can do it (map the interior of a warehouse) and I’m wondering if you’ve discovered anything since your original posting.
