I could not fly my Air 2s yesterday

Yesterday, on a commercial drone job, my DroneDeploy App would not allow me to takeoff. And the App had a note that said I needed to upgrade to fly the Air 2s.

However, I have used DroneDeploy many times in the past with my Air 2s. Just last December, 12/22/24, I flew a successful mission in Fort Scott, Missouri with my DJI Air 2s using my Flight App.

What gives?

Hi @DeployMe, can you please email Support@dronedeploy.com with this question? We can review your account details and provide more information about why you couldn’t fly the Air2S.

As a heads up, the Air2S requires a DroneDeploy trial account or a paid DroneDeploy account. You cannot fly this drone with a Free account.

Gentry, thank you so much for replying. I pretty much figured out what you said about not being able to fly with a Free account. But can you tell me if this is something new for 2025? As I wrote in my post, I just flew a mission with a free account in December!
