Does anyone know how to remove this from Google earth. Its in the middle of my KLM flight plan. I was trying to insert an overlay without success.

You may know all of this already, but… Make sure your ortho resolution is at 4in/px and you do a super overlay. Anything higher is too poor of quality and anything lower can behave poorly or not import. Make sure it is WGS84.
I would suggest using QGIS.
In the “Places” pane on the left, the layer will be listed there, perhaps in “Temporary Places” . Right click on it and choose “Delete”.
