Since the forum is dead today i’ll just post something… We officially have our Surveyors setting GCP’s at the time of control setup. I got them a few disks to carry with them.

I have orange and blue. Very rarely do I get on anything dark enough for white, but I have had issues with glare causing a haze which distorts the shape? Orange and blue are just easy since Home Depot and Lowes are everywhere. I occasionally place 4 of them as a checkerboard, but usually only on projects where I have too fly high.
Now if we can get them in “set it and forget it” made from starch based plastic, that would really be efficient ! (in matte colors, reflection sucks)
