In my opinion, the power of 4s and 6s are similar, but the discharge platform of 6s is higher and the high-power discharge is stable. As a novice, can I directly choose the 6s battery? OVONIC 6s batteries are inexpensive and of good quality.
What drone are you working with? Be aware that the electrical system needs to be able to handle the higher voltage. 4S is 16.8v and 6s is 25.2v.
The maximum voltage of the motor of my racing drone is 45A, and using a 6S battery should not cause the motor to burn out.
The motor rating is one thing but you need to make sure the board and speed controllers can handle it. That’s a big difference in voltage.
