Firmware Required?

I first started testing the Autopilot beta and they are using firmware 1.02.02.17 which would appear to be newer than the 1.02.02.09 listed on the DroneDeploy Getting Started guide.

When I loaded DroneDeploy it complained that I did not have the required firmware. Do I have to change back to 1.02.02.09 to use this beta software?

I have an Inspire.

We are going to be updating our getting started guide this week. If you can run Autopilot you should be fine. Did you try to run the app with your current firmware and have trouble?

I did. I haven’t tried it with the v9 or v9.1 release. I will try it today.

I tried it again today and everything seemed to pass the checks. I will try actually flying a mission tonight.
