Would it be possible to implement export of jpeg, to have a smaller file size compared to the tiff:s?
Have you tried exporting at a lower resolution, say 50 cm/px ? Export to jpeg used to be an option; and honestly you were better off snagging a screen grab as the resolution was really lack-luster.
Exporting to jpg is on our feature list and will be added in the next few weeks; as Beau mentioned, exporting @ 50cm/pixel (with the single tile option enabled) is a good temporary solution
