Explorer account: 5 Maps total or per month?

I can’t seem to find this anywhere…

Is the Explorer account good for 5 uploaded maps total, or 5 maps per month?

5 maps per month. Beware that month means last 30 days. So if you process 5 maps now (late Nov), you may have to wait until late Dec to process any more. The idea here is to minimize the load on DD resources so that those with paid plans get quicker turn around. So if you do 1 map per week, you can keep on rolling them thru with a bonus extra map at the end of the month. Maps need to be limited to 500 photos or 1GB total data.
