I’m new to Dronedeploy and have been having problems
with Dronedeploy connecting to dji go 4 . Everytime i try to connect the two apps my phone crashes and reboots
Reason why i want to connect the two is more for the obivous in regards to camera setting eg shutter speed.
I would like to set the shutter speed at 1/500 but to do this I need DJI GO
Is it possible to run Dronedeploy and DJI GO at the sametime without having my phone to crash?.
Samsung Galaxy A7 2018
Dronedeploy version 3.4.0
You do not connect the 2 apps together. Having 2 control apps open at the same time is a big no-no actually.
Open DJI GO 4, set all your camera settings and then completely close GO. Then open DD and proceed with your mission.
Note: When you set up your mission in Drone Deploy, you need to toggle on the switch indicating exposure control will be set in DJI Go 4.
What version of Android are you running? If you did mean “A7”, that is also not a supported device.
I am running android 8.0 (Oreo)
I would email firstname.lastname@example.org, especially if it worked before. Not the “connect” part, but DroneDeploy itself. I am sure they will mention the device, but there may be a different way out.
Can you connect and fly with just DJI Go connected to your drone?
