Drone Deploy won't connect to Phantom 3 Advanced (Nexus 7)

I am having a problem where I am unable to connect to a Phantom 3 Advanced. I am using a Nexus 7 tablet (the newer one) running Andriod 6.0.1 and the Phantom is running 1.9.6 so both are running their most current version (app is also updated). I have no defaults set for any of the apps and select drone deploy to open up every time. I was able to use it before the last update to the Phantom drone but now it never connects. I am able to connect the drone to my tablet using the DJI GO app, but drone deploy doesn’t seem to recognize the connection.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

If anyone knows of a similar problem with a solution I would greatly appricate being pointed to the correct forum

Hi @PMass - Please check out our troubleshooting guide for Android 6. It’s a bit trickier to work with than previous version of Android due to auto-connect settings. Hope this is helpful:

As a personal thing I hate setting defaults on Android
