Sure. they have a lot of irons in the fire to keep track of and my example of Litchi has only 1. Plus, as I said, DD gives their capture app away as an incentive to use their paid products where Litchi IS the product.
I think DD could charge ~$20 for their capture app if they put just a little more effort into it. Strip out (or user option out) all superfluous stuff and fine tune. It’s advantage over MP is being able to plan on the PC and mission management.
