DD App Support in 2025

Good Day Everyone,
I fly a P4P with a Samsung S7, S9 or A35 Android as controller for the app.
I mention all these devices because DD does much the same irrespective of the Android version, or DD app version - these phones all have different versions of Android, the A35 having the current version.
I have noticed with dismay, that support for this app is virtually non existent in that critical issues about the app’s functionality have not been addressed ( adequately).
Of mention are the following points ;

  1. I attempt a legit mission and all the settings for the mission work okay except the aircraft type which defaults to a Mavic 3 Enterprise. I have to input Phantom 4 Pro repeatedly.
  2. After preflight checks, the app flashes the green START FLIGHT icon in the bottom right of the screen. I have read over and over again, how folk on this forum have just given up in desperation after not getting a response from this icon. If you’re lucky, you may get a response after tapping just off to the right of it, but that is after a number of attempts. I thought it may be the screen protector, but it isn’t. I am surprised that DD SUPPORT have not done anything to help - it is a critical issue for us !!!

I do not have anyone in support who has addressed these problems.
DOES ANYONE KNOW WHO WE NEED TO ENGAGE ON THIS?

I am having the exact same problem with a my DJI Mavic Pro 2 and my Samsung A22 or Huawei P20 Pro. All pre-flight checks are passed, the green Start Flight button is flashing ready to go, but it does not respond when I touch it. I have used the P20 Pro and this drone for more than 18 months hassle free, and then this started.

On a side note, I also find that the flight plans always default to Mavic Enterprise instead of my usual drone model, which is not a problem I have had previously too.
