I’m developing a cargo delivery system and testing with a small DJI drone (Matrice 210). Does DroneDeploy allow the following:
Automatic take off from Waypoint A–> fly to Waypoint B --> hover and land manually at B --> takeoff automatically from B --> fly to A and land automatically at A?
If not, is this simpler scenario possible:
Automatic take off from Waypoint A–> fly to Waypoint B, hover and land manually at B (end of waypoint flying, return to A manually)
Hi Geoff, welcome! No, DroneDeploy does not provide the ability to do custom waypoints. You will want to use Litchi. There are other “mapping” softwares that do provide primitive waypoint functionality, but Litchi allows every aspect of each waypoint to be controlled individually if desired. If you are looking at building your own solution there is allot of information here particularly the Implementations menu with all the available types of flight control software.
