Currently when inspecting a rectangular structure, with four vertical faces, we need to create four individual ‘facade’ plans. It would be great if a polyline could be used to trace the entire perimeter of the structure, perhaps setting unique elevations and setbacks for each ‘leg’. The video capture mode is close to what we need, where you can create a polyline and the drone always orientates to look at the point of interest in the centre. I’m aware you can daisy-chain missions together, and that might work, but it would be great to visualize the flight path in 3D space to ensure it connects adequately. It would also be nice to upload a BIM model for the collision avoidance to plan around.
