Where I am flying I do not have a reliable internet connection. Is there a way to down load a project onto my smart phone and then use it disconnected. It has been nothing but frustration and I am considering looking for alternatives.

You can assign up to 10 missions to be available off line. What that does is cache map tiles. There is really no difference (or shouldn’t be) in actually flying the mission. Internet connection is not necessary.
