When flying DD missions, more often than not, I can tell that the camera or drone is yawed slightly against the flight path. I can yaw the drone to compensate but I have to do it after every endpoint (and that can be tedious of 700 acres). Is this a calibration issue?
Could be a compass issue, but I experience the same thing and the drone would throw and error and/or would have trouble getting to the waypoints. I think it might be something in the calculated heading. Almost like it is running in headless mode.
In my experience, this is the drone itself compensating for the crosswind it is encountering while maintaining a straight path.
The processing accounts for this, but if you are having issues you can adjust the mission flight direction so the aircraft is flying directly up and downwind.
