Bufferig around SHP or KML

Hello, does anyone know if there is a wayafter importing the .SHP or .KML to the app to create a buffer so that it flights extend beyond the boundary of the polygon? Some of my polygons have thousands of points and I cannot move them all to make sure I get sufficient coverage of the edges of a stand. Another app I’ve used lets you “buffer” it, growing it in all directions by a percentage so you can ensure you definitely cover the edges of a mapped stand.

This is would be so useful. What is the other app you used?

The other app is measure ground control which does have this capability. I do mostly terrain follow projects though and measures major shortcoming is that is severely slows down the drone when it takes pictures or changes altitude. DD is much faster in that sense since is doesn’t slow the drone down.

DJI GSPro has this feature. It’s called “margins”.
