Are photos geotagged?

Are the photos in the lefthand side of the screen, labeled as “Images” all georeferenced? For example, when viewing a completed map (for Ag) if the user wants to select a particular photo in the ortho, how does he do it?

Thanks,

DC

Hi there,

Thank you for reaching out on the forums. Yes, all images are georeferenced and that information is available in the EXIF data of the images, which you are able to view once you download the image to your computer.

If you’d like to pick out a particular place on the orthomosaic to inspect and download an image from, use the ‘Location’ annotation under ‘Annotation and Measurement’, and the images will show up under ‘Images of Location’ on the dashboard. To download an image using this method, right click on it and ‘Save as…’ to your computer. When inspecting photos in the regular image viewer for the entire orthomosaic, you can download an image by clicking on the image, clicking the arrow in the top right corner of the viewer, and then selecting ‘Download image’.

Please let us know if there is any way we can further help you, and have a great rest of your day.
