App login screen frozen

Hi all,
I created an account with Drone Deploy on 11-6-2018, I installed the DroneDeploy app version 2.84.0 onto my iPad mini4 running iOS 10.3.1
I am flying the DJI Phantom 4pro.

When I open the app, it sometimes goes through the intro screen, sometimes not, then stops at the login screen. This screen is frozen and will not accept any inputs regardless where I tap. I cannot go back or anywhere. I have to close the app.

I have deleted the app and reinstalled it but I get the same results.
I have turned off the iPad and restarted but I get the same results.

Any ideas?

I see this on the DroneDeploy website under supported iOS Devices:

Recommended: iOS 11.1.2+ and 1Gb of free hard disk space.

  • iPad Pro (2015, 2016, 2017)
  • iPad (2017)
  • iPad Mini 4
  • iPhone X
  • iPhone 8
  • iPhone 7, 7 Plus

So your device is on the list but you have an older version of the operating system. Could this be the problem?

Thanks Terry,
I’ll give that a try. I’ve been avoiding the iOS upgrade as it always seems to have hidden problems. iOS 12 is now the choice. I’ll give that a try.

Well, some progress. I updated my iPad mini4’s iOS to 12.1 and I could enter my credentials on the DD app.
Problem now is, it says my credentials are wrong. Funny, they work when I login at the DD website.

argh!

Problem solved!
I reset my password and it seems to be working.
