Adding missing detail to maps

Is it possible to add missing items post processing? For example, in my 3d model “Fort Grey” there should be a lamp post near the bottom of the steps. If I was to fly another mission solely around this lamp post, add these images to the originals and re-upload them, would my missing post show in the new model?

That might help your original 3D model. You can just upload additional images from the dashboard.
