Dear Michael!
I made another plan, which I extended with your suggestion. Would love your opinion.

Doesn’t look like the link is working. Did you copy through the Share option below and copying the View Only link? Not just copying the address…
That looks great! Very nice capturing the small details on the top of the roof…
and the surrounding walls have nice edges on all sides.
I can see that the sun was a bit low so the South face of the building was blown out and DroneDeploy had a hard time stitching the whole face which is why you can see the surface (gray) poking through instead of a smooth wall.
Nothing you can do about that except for fly when the sun is a little higher. Would you be will to share the images? I would like to try post-processing and can return them back to try again. Just PM me.
Last, I would get a few more shots on the entry. Five or so shots from top to bottom on each side. I think the shadows killed a little detail here.
Great job!
Should I share the images that this 3D model is made of? If so, how can I share it? 355 photo
Yes, the original images. PM me your email address and I will send you an upload request.

I sent the upload request and will get a notification once it has completed. Once I finish post-processing I will send you a download link via email. I would like to process it on our account if that is ok with you?
I haven’t done that yet. I don’t know this opportunity. Can you help me get to where I can upload the pictures?
Let’s move this to our private messaging so we don’t clutter your great model.
Here’s where we ended up after some post-processing. What was most interesting in this case (@Andrew_Fraser) is that there were many oblique images with the horizon in the background. This used to be a big no-no in photogrammetry, but it seems that DroneDeploy has put some work in on depth-of-field and after running the model with the non-horizon images excluded vs all of the images it took all images to produce the best result. I will have to test this myself as it may totally change how I do obliques with structures.
Side-by-sides. Note how my processing cut out pieces of the map. This has been an issue for a while, but did not show up on your original map. Notice the increased exposure, but at this range not much of a discernable differance.
Note how the surface is no longer protruding through the texture. This is a result of the post-processing and gaining data points back. Also note the increased detail and sharp edges on the columns.
Again, notice the increased edge detail.
I will send you a download request with the edited images soon! Again, great capture!
Thank you very much Michael! Very nice result. Congratulation!
No problem. All this did was simulate better lighting conditions. This has been very helpful on probably 50% of our flights as I mentioned that it is very hard to fly allot and end up with perfect conditions. Thanks for sharing!
You are always welcome Michael!
I also thank you for all your help!
Awesome result!
Michael - do you use lightroom for this or have your own script? Would be interested to try this in our pipeline if there is a reusable algorithm.
ACDSee Photo Studio Ultimate is what Michael and I have been using for some time now. We often get good results with one preset for batch processing of all the photos in a mission. Michael can share the preset with you and fill in the details once the sun rises again in Texas.
Regards,
Terry.
Terry has it. I have two filters. One has a little more exposure so as not to darken very light materials too much. Sometimes too much detail is lost particularly in blown out areas and there’s nothing to retrieve, but the point is that I have two specific filters for the two most common issues and despite the 5 clicks I make all photos are batched and the machine does the work.

It’s not a preprogrammed (algorithm) by ACDSee, but here’s the exposure adjustment settings. I will see if I can decode what it is actually doing and what bands those are.
Typically the histogram is up in the 75% range which may give better clues as to what a machine could look at to make adjustments.
Here’s the text of the exported settings form the ACDSee RPP file type.

I would like to ask if the drone photos taken by the program can be supplemented with photos from a 4K camera? I am making a 3D model of a tree-covered building and the side of the building is not fully visible in the images taken by the drone. If so, would you tell me what kind of 4K camera would be appropriate? Thanks in advance! Best regards: Gabor
