Problem: If there’s any wind, and if the mission direction is parallel to the wind, many more photos will be taken on an upwind leg and fewer on the downwind leg. I do try to plan missions perpendicular to the wind direction, but when planning in advance, this is not always practical. Also it doesn’t always make sense to plan perpendicular to the wind.
Assumption: DD app takes photos based on time calculated from max speed.
Request: Take photos based on location vs. time, which would facilitate more accurate lapping and I assume possibly greater accuracy and more efficient processing time.
This approach would also facilitate not taking photos during turns which is addressed in another topic; the proposed solution was to eliminate those photos at upload time vs. eliminating taking the picture.
