New Permit Required in North Carolina for Commercial UAS Operators

Flying in North Carolina? Better have your North Carolina UAS Commercial Operators Permit. How North Carolina think this is acceptable is one thing, but you are REQUIRED by state law to have this permit AND KEEP IT WITH YOU AT ALL TIMES. You must first pass a knowledge test, then register yourself as a commercial operator. It’s good for two years. The test is a joke by the way- but you’ll need to study the study guide for a few minutes first. You can take the test anywhere, not a real testing center- and they don’t even ask for your name until you finish.

Gotta love government regulations.
