Mapping on slope with changing altitude

I don’t have DJI so I’m using Mission Planner, which allows me to have the survey stay at a particular altitude above ground level at each waypoint, not just AGL from takeoff. That means that each pass will have a different altitude. I’d like to be able to map a slope, where one side a several hundred feet higher than the other, so that’s really the only option as otherwise I’ll either be way to high for the bottom of the slope, or else crash into the slope.

When I upload the images to DD, can DD handle the photos being at different altitudes? I think Mission Planner puts altitude in the GPSAltitude EXIF tag.
