Hi @MBlacklin can you share with us the file you are trying to upload? There is a known bug currently that will not display an error message instead it freezes the sidebar. We are working on to fix that.

Unfortunately not all shapefiles work. If you have a very complex one it will more likely not work, especially if it has multiple shapes. Weāve had this feature on for about a hundred people for 6 months or so and have seen it successful for the majority but unfortunately given the complexity of the shapefile format it hasnāt worked for everyone.
If you can send us the files that have problems to support@dronedeploy.com we can investigate if there is a way to help you.

Nobody needs to enable this for you. This is available as an app in the DD apps market.
